Study #3: Research on the Brain and Reward

Are you currently experiencing symptoms of depression or bipolar disorder that interfere with your daily life?

ABOUT:

Researchers at McLean Hospital are seeking participants like you for a study looking at how people respond to reward. This study involves 3 sessions, including fMRI (functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and EEG (Electroencephalography). There are also 2 follow-up interviews that take place 3 months and 6 months after the first session. Each session lasts between 1-3.5 hours. 

 

 

You may be eligibile to participate if you:

 

  • are between the ages of 18-50, and currently seeking to better manage your symptoms of depression or bipolar disorder

  • are between the ages of 18-50, and have no past psychiatric or neurological illness other than depression or bipolar disorder

 

 

COMPENSATION:

If eligible to participate, you can receive up to $352.25. Reimbursement for travel (up to $25.00) is also available.
